Lights On Afterschool Partnership Minigrants

Lights On Afterschool Partnership Minigrants: The Association of Science-Technology Centers (ASTC) and the Afterschool Alliance are pleased to announce the Noyce foundation-funded Lights On Afterschool Partnership Minigrant. Twenty ASTC-member museums, along with their afterschool partners, will be selected to receive a $1,500 minigrant to develop and host a STEM-related event for the 2014 Lights On Afterschool celebration.

The 2014 “It’s All About The Fruit and Veggies” Garden Grant

The National Gardening Association, in partnership with Jamba Juice, is proud to present a great funding opportunity for schools, community organizations, and nonprofits. 20 organizations will be awarded with funds to be used towards developing a youth gardening program with adequate gardening supplies and soil amendments. Points received from Jamba Juice's "Sip to Support a Garden" program can be applied towards the purchase of supplies in order to engage youth in fruit and vegetable production, educating them on healthy nutrition.

Teichert Foundation Grant

Non-profit organizations that benefit the local community are available for awards from $3000 up to $7500. Organizations that benefit culture and the arts, education, youth and elderly, community or social services, and other categories will be considered as recipients for the grant. Application deadlines are either on: February 28, 2014 or August 29, 2014.
