Wish You Well Foundation Provides Funding to Promote Family Literacy

The Wish You Well Foundation provides private funds to nonprofit organizations that promote family literacy in the United States. The focus of the Foundation is on the development and expansion of new and existing literacy and educational programs. Grants generally range up to $10,000. Grants Encourage Youth to Address Childhood Hunger

The Sodexo Foundation and Youth Service America (YSA) are looking for 100 of the best ideas from young people (ages 5-25) about how they can help end childhood hunger in their communities. Sodexo Foundation Youth Grants of $400 are available for youth-led service projects to address childhood hunger. Funded projects should take place on or around Global Youth Service Day, April 17-19, 2015. The application deadline is January 15, 2015.

National STEM Video Game Challenge Open For Submissions

Student submissions for original video games and game designs to the National STEM Video Game Challenge are open today. The national contest is presented by E-Line Media, the Joan Ganz Cooney Center at Sesame Workshop and the Smithsonian. The Challenge aims to motivate young people to be more interested in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) learning by using the power of playing and making video games.

Captain Planet Foundation Grants
