ExSTEMing Scientific Minds through Physical Activities

STEM Videos

In this webinar segment from the December 7th, 2012 STEM Committee Meeting, Dr. Joanne Hynes-Hunter presents on how to combine STEM education with physical activities.

S.T.E.M. Education allows students to engage in real world problems and experiences through project-based, experiential learning activities that lead to higher level thinking. Session participants will learn how to implement S.T.E.M. education through different sport, fitness and movement activities for all students. The activities AND assessments use best practices where students are given the opportunity to experience, talk, debate, discover, design, create, and build.
