In collaboration of The Education Trust-West and Children Now, the California STEM Learning Network will use Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) to improve STEM education in California. NGSS, which focuses on teaching students to solve real world problems, plans to support educators teach science and plans to incorporate engineering throughout grades K-12. NGGS aspires to form a rigorous science curriculum in order to prepare students for challenges of college and help guide them into STEM careers.
