Water in the EEI Curriculum
From the basics of the water cycle to the complex issues related to its distribution and important role in agriculture, water is represented throughout the K-12 EEI curriculum. This webinar series is designed for elementary and middle school teachers and will focus on freshwater topics and strategies for teaching students about the importance of water in California. In each webinar our team of environmental education specialists and teacher ambassadors will guide teachers through an EEI unit, demonstrate what teaching through an environmental lens looks like, and highlight how the lesson supports Common Core State Standards. At the end of the presentation, we’ll hold a questions and answer session for interested audience members.
