The Quality Self-Assessment Tool

The Quality Self-Assessment Tool (QSAT) is a self-assessment that is meant to support a relfective process in which program staff and stakeholders explore their own programs and work collaboratively to develop strategies to enhance policies, procedures and practices. This tool was created specifically for elementary through middle school programs to:

  • Engage key stakeholders in meaningful conversations about program quality and continuous program improvement
  • Generate an Action Plan that identifies the immediate, mid-range, and long-term professional development and technical support needed to enhance program quality
  • Be used as a self-assessment to help improve program quality (not as an external evaluation tool)
