Kids Get Hands-On, High- Tech Summer Camp

Through the Summer Engineering Experience for Kids (SEEK) program, more than 700 students from underserved communities are being exposed to and engaging in STEM subjects. SEEK hires women and minority college students to teach young students basic engineering concept and stress the importance of STEM careers in order expose them to professionals and college students who they can relate to.  The free, three week program held among 13 universiities nationwide, aspires to increase the number of underserved students going into STEM fields by exposing them to STEM fields at a young age.
