The Importance of STEM Education

Science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) are critical to the nation’s future.  Professionals in these fields drive our economy in hundreds of ways, from building and maintaining infrastructure to defending against cybersecurity threats and making industry more sustainable.  Additionally, STEM jobs generally offer high wages and exceptional job security.
