Youth CareerConnect Grants

With the funds provided by the Employment and Training Association (ETA), the Youth CareerConnect program is providing grants aimed to prepare high school students for college and future careers through restructuring curricula in order to focus on career opportunities for students as well as building relationships with universities and employers to supplement classroom instruction.


Through six core elements, the Youth CareerConnect program hopes to expand opportunities available to students. The six core elements are:
1. Integrated Academic and Career-Focused Learning
2. Employer Engagement
3. Individualized Career and Academic Counseling
4. Work-Based Learning and Exposure to the World of Work
5. Program Sustainability
6. Program Performance and Outcomes
