Closing the Achievement Gap for Middle School Math

A request for proposals has been submitted by the Silicon Valley Community Foundation for grant applications that close the achievement gap for middle school mathematics. The Silicon Valley Community Foundation aims to increase accessibility to students and families to high-quality after school and summer programs that will support STEM learning, specifically targeting improved mathematics instruction. Grants which help programs strengthen problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and professional development in mathematical expertise are encouraged to submit proposals. Grant applications are due on October 10, 2014.
